# 39. Coupon Code and Discount Code

COUPON CODE and DISCOUNT CODE appear while you are editing. COUPON CODE adds a service package by its coupon code, for example from a mailer, with its labor and parts. DISCOUNT CODE applies one of your shop's discounts by its code. You can type the code or scan its barcode or QR code.

## How do I add a service from a coupon?

1. From the Home Screen, click Invoices → [Invoice](https://autosoftware.company/invoice_entry_form.php) List, open the invoice and click EDIT.
2. Click COUPON CODE.
3. Type or scan the code and press Enter. ARM adds the package and says "Package added Successfully."
4. "Package already added." means that package is already on the invoice. "NO SERVICE COUPON CODE FOUND" means the code is not set up.
5. Click SAVE on the invoice.

## How do I apply a discount by its code?

1. From the Home Screen, click Invoices → Invoice List, open the invoice and click EDIT.
2. Click DISCOUNT CODE.
3. Type or scan the code and press Enter. The discount appears in Discount under INVOICE AMOUNT DETAILS.
4. Click SAVE on the invoice.
