# 22. Quotation List

The [Quotation List](https://autosoftware.company/Quotation_list.php) holds every quotation you have written that has not yet been turned into an invoice, newest first. Each row shows the Quotation#, License#, Date, Amount, vehicle and customer, with a red Q in the Action column. Quotations are removed by themselves after a set number of days, which your shop sets in System Setup Tools. When a customer accepts, you convert the quotation into an invoice; it gets an invoice number, takes its parts out of stock, and moves to the Invoice List as a Draft.

## How do I find a quotation?

1. From the Home Screen, click Invoices → Quotation List.
2. Type a customer name, phone, plate, VIN or quotation number in Search and click SEARCH. A search also finds invoices, so look for the red Q in the Action column.
3. To narrow by date, click From : To :, pick a range and click Apply.
4. Click the row to open the quotation.
