# 9. Services Recommended

Services Recommended is the second tab beside Select Services. Use it to record work you advised but the customer did not buy today, with a price and a comment. Recommendations print on the [invoice](https://autosoftware.company/invoice_entry_form.php), show up as Prior Invoice Recommendations the next time the vehicle comes in, and feed Marketing → [Recommendation Reminders](https://autosoftware.company/recommendation_reminders.php), so declined work becomes a later sale. Recommendations sent from the digital inspection form show who inspected them.

## How do I record a service the customer declined?

1. From the Home Screen, click Invoices → Invoice List, open the invoice and click EDIT.
2. Click the SERVICES RECOMMENDED tab.
3. Click the service package you are recommending. ARM adds its standard recommendations and opens the Recommended Service window.
4. Change the Service Description, Parts & Labor Price$ or Additional Comments if you need to, or fill in the blank row and click ADD & SAVE to add your own.
5. Click Close, then SAVE.

## How do I remove a recommendation?

1. From the Home Screen, click Invoices → Invoice List, open the invoice and click EDIT.
2. Click the SERVICES RECOMMENDED tab.
3. To remove one line, click the X beside it in the list below the buttons and confirm.
4. To remove every recommendation from one package, click the red X beside its green button. This one is removed straight away, without asking.
5. Click SAVE.
