# 102. Final Stand-Alone SpeeDee Royalty Marketing Report

[Final Stand-Alone SpeeDee Royalty Marketing Report](https://autosoftware.company/standalone_royalty_marketing_report.php) is the weekly royalty and marketing fee worksheet for a stand-alone SpeeDee location. It starts from the week's gross receipts, takes off the items that are not subject to fees, and works out the royalty fee and the marketing fee due to SpeeDee, line by line, with the formula for each line shown beside it. A second page lists the national fleet accounts and the discounts they received. Use it each week to see what you owe SpeeDee and to check how the figure was reached.

## How do I work out the royalty and marketing fees from the report?

1. From the Home Screen, click Reports → Management & Marketing Reports → Final Stand-Alone SpeeDee Royalty Marketing Report, and choose the date.
2. Start with line 1, TOTAL WEEKLY GROSS RECEIPTS. Example: 09-20-2026 to 09-25-2026, $944.23.
3. Take off lines 2 to 8, including 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3. Example: sales taxes $54.76 and state vehicle inspection certificates $12.00; everything else is $0.00.
4. Line 10, EQUALS TOTAL SALES SUBJECT TO ROYALTIES AND MARKETING, is what is left: $944.23 − $54.76 − $12.00 = $877.47. The formula printed beside line 10 does not list every line it takes off (the screen leaves out 6.3, the printout leaves out 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3), but the amount does take them all off.
5. Line 11 is SpeeDee brake revenues, excluding brake flushes. Line 12 is everything else: line 10 − line 11. Example: $0.00 of brake work, so line 12 is $877.47.
6. The royalty is 5 % of line 11 (line 13) plus 6 % of line 12 (line 14). Example: $0.00 + $877.47 × 6 % = $52.65, which is line 15, TOTAL ROYALTY FEE DUE.
7. The marketing fee is 4 % of line 10 for the DMA (line 16) plus 0.5 % of line 10 for the NMF (line 17). Example: $35.10 + $4.39 = $39.49, line 18, TOTAL MARKETING FEE DUE.
8. Line 19, TOTAL INVOICE FOR ROYALTY & MARKETING, is line 15 + line 18. Example: $92.13. ARM adds the unrounded amounts, so line 19 can be one cent different from adding the two printed figures ($52.65 + $39.49 = $92.14).
