# 62. Outstanding National Fleet Account Customer Report

[Outstanding National Fleet Account Customer Report](https://autosoftware.company/oustanding_national_fleet_customer.php) lists the national fleet accounts that owe you money, one line per account, with how much is outstanding, who to contact about it, and the credit terms the account was given. It is the national counterpart of Outstanding Local Fleet Account Customer Report and works in exactly the same way. Use it to chase the national accounts, to see how much credit you have extended across them, and to check an account against its limit before taking more work on.

## How do I run the Outstanding National Fleet Account Customer Report?

1. From the Home Screen, click Reports → Fleet & Customer Reports → Outstanding National Fleet Account Customer Report.
2. Type part of an account name into Search to find one customer, or leave it empty for all of them.

## How do I find the national accounts that owe me most?

1. From the Home Screen, click Reports → Fleet & Customer Reports → Outstanding National Fleet Account Customer Report, and click SEARCH.
2. Click the Outstanding Amount heading, twice if necessary, so the largest debts sit at the top.
3. Read each line against its Credit Limit and Net Terms to see which accounts are furthest past what they were given.
4. Click PRINT or DOWNLOAD to take the list into a collections round.

## How do I work out the total owed across the national accounts?

1. From the Home Screen, click Reports → Fleet & Customer Reports → Outstanding National Fleet Account Customer Report, and run it with Status on ACTIVE.
2. Outstanding Amount on each line is what that account owes. ARM works it out when you run the report, from the fleet payments recorded against the account, less any payments taken in advance, plus the account's opening balance.
3. Total Outstanding Amount above the table adds those up. Example: five accounts at $472.55, $1,418.79, $1,852.03, $226.07 and $260.00 give $4,229.44.
4. Total: beside it is simply how many accounts that is — five.
5. The foot row totals the Credit Limit column in the same way, so you can compare the credit you have granted with the amount actually outstanding.

## About this screen

Above the table, Total: counts the accounts listed and Total Outstanding Amount adds up what they owe between them. Each line shows the Customer Name, the Outstanding Amount still on the account, the Contact Number and Phone Number, the Email Address, the Credit Limit and the Net Terms, shown as - where no terms were set. The foot row repeats the column names and carries the outstanding total and the total of the credit limits.

The printed PDF works its outstanding amounts out a different way from the screen — it reads a balance stored against the customer rather than recalculating it. The two usually agree, but where they do not, take the screen as the current figure. The PDF is headed Outstanding National Local Fleet Customer Report, which carries both words by mistake, names the columns Phone and Email, and totals the credit limits but not the outstanding amounts.

The balances shown beside each account in National Fleet Account Customer Statement are worked out on a different basis again and will not always match this report. Use this report to rank the accounts by what they owe, and the statement when you need to see how one account's balance was built up.
