# 48. System Auto Emails

[System Auto Emails](https://autosoftware.company/autoresponder_list.php) are the messages ARM sends on its own when something happens — an invoice is finalized, an appointment is booked, a password is reset. They are split into Admin/Users emails, which go to your own staff, and Retail emails, which go to customers. Each one picks up a header and footer design, so the wording lives here and the styling lives in Email Header & Footer Templates.

## How do I change the wording of an automatic email?

1. From the Home Screen, click System Setup Tools → System Auto Emails.
2. Find the email in the Admin/Users or Retail list — type part of its name in the Search box, or click Show All.
3. Click EDIT in the Action column.
4. Change the Subject and the Email Content. Both are required. Use keywords for anything that differs per customer.
5. Click Preview to check how it will look, then click Save.
