About this screen

Time Sheet Dropdown → Employee Master Settings → Clock In, Clock Out Options

This enhancement allows management to control which clock-in/clock-out buttons appear in the Employee Time Sheet interface based on operational requirements.

To configure these options:

Hover over TIME SHEET

Each option includes an On/Off toggle:

• On – The button will appear in employee time tracking.

• Off – The button will be hidden from employee time tracking screens.

When a button is disabled in Clock In, Clock Out Options:

• It will not appear in the Employee Clock-In/Clock-Out popup.

• It will not appear in the Time Sheet Entry screen.

• It will not appear in the Change Past Attendance Data screen.

Only the options enabled in System Setup Tools will be visible to users when performing time tracking actions.

For example:

• If Temporary Clock-Out is turned Off, employees will not see that option when clocking in or editing past attendance records.

• If Start Lunch is disabled, the lunch option will not be available in either current or historical time adjustments.

This ensures consistent enforcement of shop policies across both live time entry and historical time edits.

This feature is particularly useful for:

• Shops that do not track rest breaks separately

• Businesses that do not allow temporary clock-outs

• Operations that want simplified time tracking workflows

• Multi-location groups standardizing timekeeping policies

By controlling button visibility centrally, management can ensure employees only see options aligned with company policy.

The Clock In, Clock Out Options setting provides administrative control over employee time tracking actions while maintaining required system functions.

This enhancement improves operational consistency and simplifies employee time tracking management.

The Clock In, Clock Out Options configuration enables shops to restrict the visibility of specific time tracking buttons in the Employee Clock-In/Clock-Out popup.

The following buttons can be enabled or disabled:

• Start Lunch

• Start Rest Break

• Temporary Clock-Out

The following buttons are system-mandatory and cannot be disabled:

• Start Work

• End Day (Stop Work)

This ensures that essential time tracking actions remain available at all times.
