Send Email/SMS

Send Email/SMS is for a message you compose now and send once, rather than a reminder driven by invoice history — a holiday closure, a promotion, a change of hours. You choose whether it goes out as an email or a text, choose who receives it, and write the message. Sending to everyone is one click here, so check the recipient before you send.

How do I send a message to all my customers? #

  1. From the Home Screen, click Marketing → Send Email/SMS.
  2. Set Type to Email or SMS. This is required, and it changes the rest of the form.
  3. Set Send To to All Customers. The number beside each choice tells you how many people will receive it.
  4. For an email, enter the Subject. This is required.
  5. Write the message in the editor, or pick a ready-made one under Select Autoresponder.
  6. Click Keyword to insert a placeholder such as the customer's name.
  7. Click Send.

How do I send a message to one person? #

  1. From the Home Screen, click Marketing → Send Email/SMS.
  2. Set Type to Email or SMS.
  3. Set Send To to Other.
  4. Enter the address or number in Enter Email Address/Mobile Number. This is required.
  5. Enter the Subject if you are sending an email, write the message, and click Send.

How do I message only my newest customers? #

  1. From the Home Screen, click Marketing → Send Email/SMS.
  2. Set Type to Email or SMS.
  3. Set Send To to New Clients. The number beside it is how many customers are recent enough to count.
  4. Write the message and click Send.

How do I message a communication group? #

  1. From the Home Screen, click Marketing → Send Email/SMS.
  2. Set Type to Email or SMS.
  3. Open Send To and choose the group by name. A group only appears in this list once it is Active and has members who have opted in to that channel, so a new or empty group will not be there yet.
  4. Write the message and click Send.
