Edit Work Status

A Work Status says where the job is — waiting for parts, in the bay, ready for collection — and like customer statuses each carries a colour. Use Work Status for the vehicle's progress and Customer Status for the customer's. The list shows each Work Status Type and its Status.

How do I add a work status? #

  1. From the Home Screen, click System Setup Tools → Edit Work Status.
  2. Click ADD Work Status.
  3. Enter the name of the status, such as Waiting for Parts or Ready for Pickup.
  4. Pick the Color it should show in.
  5. Leave Status set to Active.
  6. Click Save.

How do I edit or retire a work status? #

  1. From the Home Screen, click System Setup Tools → Edit Work Status.
  2. Type part of the name in the Search box, or set Status to All, Active or Deactive, then click Search. Click Show All to list every status.
  3. Click the edit icon in the Action column.
  4. Change the name or Color, or set Status to Deactive to stop offering it.
  5. Click Save.

How do I change the order the work statuses appear in? #

  1. From the Home Screen, click System Setup Tools → Edit Work Status.
  2. Drag the handle in the Sort(Drag) column to put the statuses in the order your jobs actually move through.
